WHAT IS IT?

GW October Entrepreneurship Week is a preeminent event providing guidance, training, and networking opportunities for entrepreneurs.

WHY WAS IT CREATED?

We are gathering together in order to support and celebrate the resilient GW entrepreneurial community.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Anyone with entrepreneurial passion or interest is encouraged to attend.

Alongside members of the GW community, we are expanding this year’s GW October Entrepreneurship Week to invite researchers from all over the world to join us and participate in the conference on Thursday and Friday.

HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE?

Join the event in-person or online as an attendee, speaker, volunteer, or sponsor.

GW Students, Alumni, and Faculty may participate in GW October for FREE.

For those interested in participating in the research components, the deadline to submit research papers is Sept. 24. Registration for the event ends on Oct. 5.

THIS YEAR, IMAGINE

In our post COVID-19 society, we must reimagine our lives, businesses, and world in new ways.

This year, in order to inspire innovation and positive change, the GW October Entrepreneurship Week centers around the theme of Imagine. Dare to imagine a more inclusive society in our hybrid sessions, conference, and networking events focused on creative entrepreneurship.

This year’s GW October Entrepreneurship Week is hosted by the George Washington University School of Business (GWSB), a distinguished school recognized for scholarly research, teaching excellence, and innovative curricula focused on the responsible management of organizations in the global environment.

International Council for Small Business

The International Council for Small Business (ICSB) is an organization dedicated to providing knowledge, information on new developments, and useful resources to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises to inspire growth and profitability.

 

The mission of the ICSB is to advance entrepreneurship worldwide by developing research skills, offering opportunities for career advancement, organizing live events, and initiating partnerships with community groups.
